Honesty BarSelf-service corner dedicated to local grappas and spirits.
Grappa and Berta Distillery: the other flavour of the Langhe.
Do you know what an Honesty Bar is?
The honesty bar is a form of service born in the Anglo-Saxon tradition that provides guests, in hotels or bars, with a self-service area for refreshments or snacks. The word “honesty” refers to the fact that there is no control by the staff and it is therefore left to the honesty of the guest to report the drinks consumed.
Given the hospitality model of Vigne di Fagnano, we believe that this is the perfect formula to allow our guests to linger in the lounges, lost in chatting or reading, until late at night in the company of an excellent grappa.
And the grappas are not chosen at random! These are the products of the Berta Distilleries: one of the best distilleries in the area, a selection of three bottles highly representative of the quality and aroma of the Monferrato.
An honesty bar dedicated to local grappas and spirits to enjoy a moment of taste and relaxation, in the company of friends, good music or the silence of ancient stones... at any time of the day and in full autonomy.
Tradition and quality with an intense aroma.
The selection of grappas for tasting at Vigne di Fagnano includes:
- Valdavi: Moscato Grappa both soft and young
- Monprà Invecchiata: All the taste of Piedmont with Barbera and Nebbiolo pomace. Aged for one year in the Cantina dei Tini.
- Nizza Invecchiata: Grappa from the Nizza del Monferrato vines aged in barrels of different woods.

100% Italian
Grappa is a marc distillate, made from grapes produced, vinified and distilled exclusively in Italy. The alcohol content varies between 40% and 60%. It can be young, aromatic, aged, or barriqued, It always has a clear colour and a soft or balanced taste, with sweet, bitter and acidic notes. The aromas depend on the type of pomace, the type of distillation and the aging process.
Piedmont boasts two typical appellations for grappa: Grappa di Barolo and Grappa del Piemonte.
The Berta Distillery has been producing Grappa of the highest quality since 1947.
