Wine tastingCellar visits and tastings at a selection of local producers.
From the grape to the glass: stories of producers and memorable experience.
The hills around Santo Stefano Belbo are home to some of the best vineyards and winemakers of local wines, such as Barbera, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Nizza, Metodo Classico-Alta Langa and Moscato. Thanks to the collaboration with selected local producers, the guests of Vigne di Fagnano will be able to organise visits to the cellar and tastings, learn about the stories of the people and families who produce them, the traditions and legends of that “peasant knowledge” that still believes in the power of the Moon and bonfires.
Complete stories, from the grape to the glass, personally giving an enriching, memorable experience!
Carlo and Manila will advise guests on the wineries that best suit their needs and explain the oenological excellence of the area. Langhe is not just about wine… the tasting continues with Berta grappas. Read here to learn more.
"And it was then that Nuto very calmly told me that superstition only does harm, and if one used the moon and bonfires to rob the peasants and keep them in the dark, then he would be the ignorant one and he would have to be shot in the...”
"Stories in a Bottle": a selection of quality local wines in each room.
In each room there is a selection of bottles from the best local producers: we have called them “Stories in a Bottle” – find out why! Quality bottles selected according to the hospitality philosophy of Vigne di Fagnano:
- the proximity of the producers to our Villa (we believe in the philosophy of “zero kilometres” not as a fashionable cliché, but as a concrete possibility of creating a network of virtuous exchanges with our neighbours)
- the search for authentic, original wines consistent with sustainable agriculture criteria, loyal “translators” of the voice of the territory.
Bottles that faithfully represent the land in which they are born, its scent and its stories. The stories of Vigne di Fagnano begin and continue in these bottles. Taste them to make your stay in the Langhe unique.

Piedmont: the region with the highest number of high-quality wines.
Together with Tuscany, Piedmont is the Italian region that boasts the most significant number of high-quality wines in Italy: over 80% of its total production is covered by a designation of origin. Langhe, Roero and Monferrato are home to prestigious brands and lesser-known labels, but not necessarily of lesser quality.
From the most famous “typical” wines Barbera, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Metodo Classico to other local productions (Arneis), guests will be spoilt for choice and will be able to taste authentic aromas and flavours.
